This year we've been running a quarterly Going the Extra Mile award which has been a huge success.
Open to all employees of Chevron Green Services, and awarded to one person each quarter who embodies our cultural pillars, whilst going the extra mile for those around them. Nominated by colleagues and chosen by our Senior Team, we're so delighted to be able to announce the third winner of our CGS Going the Extra Mile Award: 🌟Harry Davis 🏆
Harry is one of our Vegetation Management Operatives from our Curdridge depot.
Jim MacPherson, Director had this to say: “I'm delighted that Harry has won this award, not only for his kindness and care towards the kittens but also for his work in the yard. Harry is an asset to Curdridge and CGS. I'm so proud that we have people like Harry working with us.”
Harry had several nominations, here are a few of them:
"Finding 4 abandoned kittens in a lay-by and searching the area with the clients' crew for more. Then finding them a box to sit in in the tractor to finish his shift. Finally he took them home, feeding and caring for them."
"Harry Davis pet rescue services! I nominate Harry for being a decent human being."
"Harry found these kittens left in a box during his pre-start walk through, this shows just how important checking sites before starting work actually is."
"He comes in early and if a shift has finished before the 8 hour mark he will stay at the yard fixing all the tools, meaning we have a shorter down time on tools and lower costs to get them fixed."
"The reason I would like to nominate Harry is because his efforts to maintain our equipment before and after his shift is one of the major contributing factors as to why our depot has been so efficient. Since Harry started he has taken charge of the tools and equipment ensuring it is all maintained to a high standard, finding and fixing issues. Harry has also found solutions to issues meaning the management team can rely on him to get the job done right."
A huge well done to Harry from all of us at CGS.
