Balancing water to help wildlife flourish, vegetation grow and for recreational enjoyment

Water is one of our most precious natural assets; it helps wildlife to flourish, vegetation to grow and provides recreational enjoyment to the public. But too much or too little water caused by poor drainage can have detrimental effects on the environment and biodiversity.

Chevron Green Services provides a range of drainage asset management services to ensure the right balance of water so that nature continues to thrive. Our range of services includes:

Balancing pond maintenance: This ensures that the pond is functioning to the best of its ability, assists and accurate metering and identifying possible defects.

Balancing pond restoration: Ponds often go untouched for years. We can clear unwanted vegetation in order to access and then maintain the pond to get it back to a good serviceable standard.

Re-profiling of ditches and ponds: This redefines the assets and ensures effective flow rates at peak times.

Reed bed management: We can remove a certain percentage of the reed bed to assist with the directional flow.

Desilting: This involves removing unwanted build-ups of natural material often located in catchment areas near to outflows. We will remove this material and, where possible, prefer to leave it onsite in a designated area in order to minimise the impact on the environment.

Grip cutting: We offer a fast and effective grip cutting service with multiple machines on our fleet to ensure we can cater for every scenario. Creating grips relieves standing water and minimises the impact of flash flooding on our road network.

Filter drain decompaction: Our filter drain decompaction service is simple but effective and we often combine this service with other services so that clients get maximum value.

We work closely with our clients to design and deliver a maintenance package that is effective with as little impact on the surrounding environment as possible and contributes to a more sustainable future.

We have an extensive list of certifications and accreditations to reassure our clients that the work we delivery is of the highest quality and that we have been independently audited. We are part of the Chevron Group and work closely with and support Chevron Traffic Management, the UK’s largest independent traffic management specialists.
