A sustainable approach to sign clearance with mechanised arb

Our team in the North were working on sign clearance on the A180 westbound last week.

The work was completed at night to reduce the inconvenience to motorists. Due to the presence of thorn trees and shrubs, our team used mechanised arb equipment to clear the area, reducing handling for the crew and speeding up the work.

Using mechanised arb also means fewer crew are needed on site, with fewer vehicles, helping to generate sustainable impact due to the reduction in journeys for staff and vehicles involved.
