Whilst the sun shone a couple of weeks ago, our Environmental team was working on a Habitat Survey in Hampshire.
The survey was fed into a Biodiversity Net Gain Assessment to establish the biodiversity baseline. Once the baseline is known, improvement recommendations and tracking any potential increase become much more manageable.
Our Arb team had previously surveyed this particular site, so we were updating and adding to the survey to ensure all bases were covered.
The BNG forms part of our client report along with our management and improvement plans to increase biodiversity around the site.
