Over the course of the year, our ecospheres have been making it out into the wild, and it's brilliant to see them ending up in client depots or being created as part of community outreach projects.
One particular ecosphere story that sticks out really sums up the collaborative culture running throughout CGS. The ecosphere in question started life as a cable drum and was created at a youth centre in Eye, Peterborough, where our Business Manager, Donna Nolan, volunteers with children aged 9-12.
The drum itself and the materials and green waste put into the different sections came from our nearby Fenstanton depot, meaning the depot had less waste to dispose of.
Once completed, the ecosphere was donated to our client Ringway as part of their Environment Day and she now lives at their Kings Lynn depot.
