Throughout CGS our teams are safety focused, knowledgeable and passionate. They work professionally, efficiently and with integrity to exceed expectations for our clients.
Today we're highlighting our depot based in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire who provide works in Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Led by Mark White, Contract Manager and ably assisted by James Dhese-Curtis, Contract Supervisor, James Riley, Contract Supervisor, Nick Amani, Highways Inspector and Donna Nolan, Business Manager. The total headcount at the depot is 15 team members, who offer a range of services:

✅Grass Cutting
✅Spraying
✅Landscaping & Planting
✅Vegetation Clearance
✅Siding Out
In order to complete these works we use JCB Fastracs, tractors with orbital side arms and front mowers, tracked MEWPs, truck mounted MEWPs, tracked and tow behind woodchippers and Robocuts (remote controlled bank flail mowers). Plus a whole host of hand tools to complete the finer details which the larger pieces of kit can't reach.
Collaboration runs deep at CGS, and as such we have a number of approved contractors who we work with on a regular basis to support us to deliver work for our clients. In the East of England we have 17 trusted and approved contractors on our rota, all of whom have been inducted into CGS to follow our strict safety procedures and way of working.
There is also a strong social value and community building ethic at Fenstanton with the team taking part in 15 initiatives last year, including charity days creating gardens; promoting green careers for 16 – 21 year olds; refurbishing a local youth centre; and donating logs to a local college.
