In the latest episode of our Year in the Life of an ecologist series, we follow Lily Clarke as she works on Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments on the railways in Hampshire.

Her work this time kept her within the station boundaries, so there was no need to be lineside. Lily records a variety of data using the Coreo app, including UKHabs and BNG info.
