Consultancy Insights: introducing the benefits of edge habitats on biodiversity
Published on 15 Feb 2024

Have you heard of edge habitats?

They're the transitional area where two different habitats and ecosystems meet. Such as a woodland and a grassland.

As part of our work, the teams at Chevron Green Services and Chevron Green Consultancy encounter edge habitats daily. They're a really important part of our ecosystem and enhance biodiversity too.

We've written a blog detailing the benefits of edge habitats, how they encourage species protection and outlining things we can all do to speak up for nature in our own environments. Every month, we'll be adding to our resources on the website and sharing our Consultancy Insights with you.

Written by our talented and specialist Environmental and Arboricultural Consultants from our Consultancy division, look out for our March article on Biodiversity Net Gain and the legislation changes coming in.
