Lily Clarke gains her Level 1 Great Crested Newt Licence

Congratulations to Lily Clarke one of our Ecologists in the Consultancy Environment team who has gained her Level 1 Great Crested Newt licence 🦎

This license means Lily is now able to lead surveys for Great Crested Newts (GCN) by hand, net, torch, and bottle trapping. She joins Andrea Evans and Alice Burgess from the team Environment who also have their GCN licence.

Great Crested Newts are a species of principal importance due to their declining numbers. Over the last century their habitats have been destroyed, leading to them becoming a protected species in the UK and Europe.
