At the beginning of the year, we launched our quarterly Going the Extra Mile award and it's been a huge success. Awarded to one person each quarter who embodies our values and goes the extra mile for those around them.
Nominated by colleagues and chosen by our Senior Team we're so delighted to be able to announce the second winner of our CGS Going the Extra Mile Award is: 🏆Sophie Durrant🌟
Sophie is our Project Manager in the Consultancy division and co-leads the Environmental Team alongside Andrea Evans.
Martin Osman, Consultancy Director had this to say: “I am really pleased that Sophie has won this month’s award for going the extra mile. A nomination she fully deserves due to her dedication, professionalism, enthusiasm for not only the work she is doing but also for the colleagues and peers she works with. She is a great person to have within CGS.”

“Sophie has been such a supportive and positive PM since I joined. Especially of late with the Preliminary Roost Assessments project where she has guided the team really well and kept motivation going. She has worked super hard to get as much done as possible.”
“Sophie is encouraging and supportive to the team and this doesn’t change when she is really busy and under pressure. Her supportive attitude, encouragement as well as finding time to catch up with staff members makes our job easier and want to help with the workloads during pressured busy times.”
