Last week the Chevron Green Consultancy team got together to share knowledge, best practice and ideas.
We heard talks on bats, Dutch elm disease, fungi, reptiles, and the new habitat classification system for surveys amongst other things.
For example, did you know the Honey Fungus is the biggest living organism in the world? Or that Dutch elm disease is transmitted by beetles? Or that there are 17 different types of bats in the UK?
It was amazing to share knowledge, learn new things and spend time together. It gave us all a greater understanding of the specialisms within our team.
So if you need a bat survey, help identifying some Dutch elm disease or want to know more about the magical world of mushrooms, then you know where to come! Our emails are always open.
