Teamwork and efficiencies are both areas where Chevron Green Services works hard for our clients.
In February, the Chevron Green Consultancy Arboriculture team had categorised 47 trees on the side of the M54 as hazardous. They had various issues, including ash dieback, damaged limbs or were dead or dying.
Our Chevron Green Services teams were deployed to remove the trees using mechanised arb equipment. The road needed to be entirely closed to complete the removals, but by utilising a mechanised approach, we could work within an already planned closure on the carriageway.
Not only is it more efficient and cost-effective for our clients, but there is less disruption for road users too.
Working with the mechanised equipment also means it’s safer for our teams as the trees are removed in a more controlled manner and it’s easier to manage the risks.
