This week we're thrilled to win an International Green Apple Environment Award by @The Green Organisation for our Replanting the A14 scheme. The scheme saw us use certified biodegradable tree shelters across 165,000 trees, focusing not only on a sustainable approach, but a safer one too.
A huge thanks to Rainbow Professional Ltd for their certified biodegradable shelters and Grown in Britain for the introduction and support. Of course, a big thanks goes to National Highways and Ringway for supporting us in our mission to put sustainability first.
Our submission was up against more than 1200 other nominations, so you can imagine our delight to be recognised. As a result of our International Green Apple Award success, we have been invited to accept Green World Ambassador status.
Our winning paper will be published in The Green Book, the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice which allows for others around the world to learn from our achievement.
John Prowse, Managing Director, Chevron Green Services said: "Winning this international Green Apple Award is a testament to our team's unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation. It reflects our dedication to making a positive impact on the environment while driving meaningful change in our industry."
