Barrier de-vegetation on the A2 ensures essential maintenance works can take place

Last month, our South East team were working on a crash barrier clearance between Coldred and Whitfield on the A2 east.

These essential road network maintenance works were booked in to create space around the crash barrier, which needed to be replaced.

Due to the location and the traffic management required, we worked during the night to clear the trees and overhanging branches. We used a tractor and flail, as well as operatives with strimmers, to cut back the grass and low-level vegetation.
