The summer of 2023 saw our team at Fenstanton deliver a vegetation clearance and drainage scheme along the A6 Paula Radcliffe Way in Bedfordshire.

Within two weeks of the initial enquiry from the customer, Chevron Green Services produced a specification and a bill of quantities. Within eight weeks of starting on-site, we'd completed the following:

🟢 95,000m2 of grassland cutting

🟢 7,138 linear meters of concrete and grass channel ditch clearance

🟢 3,371m vacuum excavation

🟢 396m of grass channel ditch regrading

🟢 4,592 linear meters of vegetation clearance from the carriageway and footways

🟢 1,183 linear meters of clearance from fence lines

🟢 2,995m2 of vegetation clearance and silt removal from drainage basins

For this scheme, we worked with our sister company, @ChevronTrafficManagement, to deliver the work efficiently for the client.

Chevron Green Consultancy worked with the client to advise them of the scheme's environmental requirements, completing an Environmental Alert Form, Environmental Scoping Assessment and the relevant protected species surveys.

As a result of some points identified, an Ecological Clerk of Works was present on site to ensure no species were harmed throughout the work. It was a fantastic team effort from start to finish and work we're all incredibly proud of 💚
