This week, we're delighted to share a profile of Jim Riley, our newly promoted Contract Supervisor in our Fenstanton depot.
If you're working with us in the East of England, you'll likely come across Jim. He's been part of the Chevron Green Services team for nearly three years, joining us as a vegetation management operative.
He has worked through the ranks to team leader, working supervisor and most recently, Contract Supervisor. Before joining Chevron Green Services, Jim's specialism was as a Utility Arborist, maintaining and removing trees around powerlines on behalf of UK Power Networks.
Currently, Jim can be found working on our M&R contract in Areas 6&8, which covers Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Peterborough, tackling grass-cutting and tree work, including emergency and planned-for tree maintenance.
Jim says, "I really enjoy the variety of work; every day is different."
Jim works closely with Mark White, the Contractor Manager, who says: "Jim has proven himself in his previous role as Working Supervisor and was the obvious choice for filling the Contract Supervisor role."
In his spare time, you'll find Jim on the golf course or fishing.
