Mechanised arb equipment removes trees too brittle for climbing removal
Published on 22 Sep 2022

We were called out on a dangerous tree removal job, when our client identified several dead elm trees that were in falling distance of the M62 in Yorkshire.

There were about 10 groups of trees which were too dangerous to remove by climbing due to their brittle nature. Using mechanised arb equipment, we managed to safely remove all the trees in just one night.

On site we had a team of five operatives, a large tree shear to cut down the trees, a whole tree chipper to chip them efficiently, and a hook loader wagon with a 40-yard specialist arb trailer to remove the chip.

All while the rest of us were sleeping!
