Tricky Sheffield tree removal requires second visit with additional equipment

Sometimes we get called out for a one-off tree dismantle which can prove trickier than they initially sound.

This particular tree near the M1 in Sheffield had died, was overhanging a footpath and was classed as a dangerous tree.

Chevron Green Services used a tracked spider MEWP (mobile elevated work platform) and a team of three arborists to cut down and remove the tree, piece by piece. On this occasion, due to the location of the tree, we couldn’t actually get into all of it with the MEWP that we had on duty, so we’re booked in to return to complete the job shortly.
